Terms and conditions
All cakes are bespoke and made to order.
Our charges include a consultation at our premises where you can taste samples of our cakes.
Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements
Our cakes are not suitable for anyone with a serious nut allergy as they are prepared in an environment where nuts may be present.
All our cakes can be made alcohol free on request.
Lead times
We ask for three months notice when ordering wedding cakes and one month’s notice for celebration cakes, however depending on our schedule, we may be able to accept orders at shorter notice.
To confirm an order, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for wedding cakes and 50% of the cake price for celebration cakes.
Until the deposit has been received there is no obligation upon either party.
The balance is due three weeks prior to delivery or collection of the cake. We accept payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
Collection and delivery
Collection of your cake is preferred but if this is not possible a delivery service is offered to Taunton and the surrounding area subject to availability. Delivery charges start from £10, in addition to this there is a travel cost of charge of 50p a mile.
If the cake is delivered we will not be liable for any damage to the cake once we have left the venue.
Please note that if the cake is collected by the client or courier, the full responsibility for the safety of the cake is with the client and we will not be liable for any damage to the cake that may occur after it has left our kitchen.
The possibility exists that we may be unable to deliver your cake due to adverse or freak weather conditions such as snow or floods that make your venue inaccessible. We strongly recommend that you purchase wedding insurance to cover this eventuality.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your order for any reason after the 50% deposit is paid the deposit is non-refundable.
